Bio-essence Malaysia FB Live (Virtual Production Unreal Engine)
Astro approached us to design 3D real-time graphic environment for their live show. This project was for Bio-essence Malaysia which is broadcasted at Astro to FB page live.
The stream was to promote their latest product 'Pro Whitening Super Serum', and also hosting mini quiz game show for audience, live through streaming FB (using OBS Studio).
For this project, I was given the opportunity to design a 3D virtual stage. During the designing phase, I would make sure that the design would not get too much complicated. This is because they addressed their concern to make sure spectators did not wander staring too much into details of background. I also design it to be easy for the use of virtual production in UE.
To get realistic cinematic video, I used 'Sequencer' in Unreal Engine, to animate the virtual camera. I also develop blueprint of camera movement using keyboards. For the live camera, we used Black Magic Converter HDMI to stream real-time shooting into Unreal Engine. Then I used plane to read the green screen as texture.
